Opening of Papindo Mall at 7th Street, Lae

After-24-years-Papindo-officially-opened-their-new-shopping-centre-in-Lae. 24 years after Lae’s first Papindo shop got burnt down, the company rebuilt and officially opened their new shopping centre, in Lae this morning. Managing Director Lady Susan Tjandra (CHA- N -DRA) says it was a historic moment to open this building where the company’s first ever shop was built. The Papindo Group of companies have been in PNG for over 40 years. With this new building, they’ve provided employment for over a 100 new employees.
