It was the second retail outlet in Lae that was opened for business yesterday.
The opening attracted customers wanting to know more about the company’s products and services.
Bmobile-Vodafone retail sales manager Jennifer Imatana said the opening of the retail outlet was to increase the convenience by providing an additional location for their valued customers in Morobe to purchase Bmobile-Vodafone and 4GLTE products and services.
“We want to set the retail benchmark in PNG.
“This is so that our customers can experience the same level of customer service as what people in other countries experience on a daily basis,” she said.
Ms Imatana said the demand for Bmobile-Vodafone and 4GLTE products and services is there.
This is why the company is focused on selecting central locations to setup a kiosk for customers convenience.
She said the new kiosk will have six staff helping customers with three working in the morning and three in the afternoon.
“The kiosk will open from 8am-7pm daily taking into consideration the customer service need for working class people.
“We are slowly expanding from our first location at Post Office building and the Papindo mall Bmobile-Vodafone is the second location in town,” Ms Imatana said.
Papindo Group of Companies operation manager Jacky Lew congratulated Bmobile-Vodafone for opening their second kiosk and said the company is the first to secure a place for business at Papindo third floor.
Mr Lew said nine vacant office and retail spaces for interested clients are still available.
He said since Bmobile-Vodafone has opened the Papindo third floor business area, Papindo is looking forward to seeing more businesses joining.
He said the fourth and final floor will be for a food arcade, which is still under construction.
